Materials:

-100% natural cotton yarn 

-1.5 mm. crochet hook

-Sewing needle and scissors

Abbreviations:

Rnd = Round

sts = stitches

SC = single crochet

inc = increase = 2SC in the same stitch

*4 times  = make the same from [_] 4 times

Hat: With dark brown (main color)

Start with a magic circle.

Rnd1: 4SC in the magic circle (4sts)

Rnd2: SC in all stitches

Rnd3: [inc]*4 times (8sts)

Rnd4: SC in all stitches

Rnd5: [SC, inc]*4 times (12sts)

Rnd6: SC in all stitches

Rnd7: [2SC, inc in next st]*4 times (16sts)

Rnd8: SC in all stitches

Rnd9: [3SC, inc in next st]*4 times (20sts)

Rnd10: SC in all stitches

Rnd11: [4SC, inc in next st]*4 times (24sts)

Rnd12-13: SC in all stitches

Change color here!

Rnd14-15: SC in all stitches

Change back to your main color here!

Rnd16: [inc]*24 times (48sts)
