Abbreviations:

mc = magic circle

st, sts = stitch, stitches

ch = chain

SC = single crochet

{inc} = increase = 2sc in the same stitch

{dec} = decrease = SC2tog

=SC 2 stitches together

*3 times = make the same from {_} 3 times

*6 times = make the same from {_} 6 times

Acorn: with light brown

1: 6SC in the mc [6sts]

2: {SC, inc}*3 times [9sts]

3: {SC, inc, SC}*3 times [12sts]

4: {3SC, inc}*3 times [15sts]

5: {2SC, inc, 2SC}*3 times [18sts]

6 - 10: 18SC

11: {dec}*9 times [9sts]

CAP: with dark brown

1: 6SC in the mc [6sts]

2: {inc}*6 times [12sts]

3: {SC, inc}*6 times [18sts]

4 - 6: 18SC

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
