Crochet Watermelon Pattern

Materials:

1. 100% natural cotton thread

2. 1.5 mm. crochet hook

3. Sewing needle and scissors

Abbreviations:

mc = magic circle

sl = slip

st, sts = stitch, stitches

ch = chain

SC = single crochet

{inc} = increase = 2sc in the same stitch

DC = Double crochet

*8 times  = make the same from {_} 8 times

Start with Red / Yellow

1 = 8SC in the mc  [8sts]

2 = {inc}*8 times  [16sts]

3 = {SC, inc}*8 times  [24sts]

4 = {SC, inc, SC}*8 times  [32sts]

-- Change to White --

5 = {3SC, inc}*8 times  [40sts]

-- Change to Green --

6 = 40SC, sl st

Fold your work and continue,

7 = Ch1, 20SC

Flower and Carpel:

Flower: with white

1 = 6SC, sl st

2 = {Ch2, 2dc, Ch2, sl st}*5 times

carpel: with yellow

Start at the center

4 = Ch3,

5 = popcorn stitch

6 = Ch 1, and sewing.
